Kalangala Health Center IV, located in Bujjumba, a health sub-district, is equipped with a state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory that plays a pivotal role in patient care. Our laboratory provides comprehensive diagnostic services under the Ministry of Health, with support from key entities including the Ministry of Health, IDI (Infectious Diseases Institute), UNHLS (Uganda National Health Laboratory Service), and is supervised by the District Laboratory Focal Person and the Hub coordinator who monitors the sample quality and timely transportation to the Hub and CPHL. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated by our ongoing accreditation process under SLMTA, where we are currently rated at 2 stars (**).
